Cassidy Joined for Hope and M-COPE are proud to partner in bringing you "UNFILTERED ", the honest truth about teen suicide and overdose prevention. This event is designed to equip parents and teens with the knowledge and resources needed to recognize warning signs and take action before it’s too late.
Kim Hess will share the heartbreaking story of losing her 16-year-old daughter, Cassidy, to suicide. She will discuss the warning signs every parent should watch for and provide guidance on how to seek help for your child.
M-COPE will share personal experiences with teen substance use, how to recognize an overdose, and the importance of Narcan administration. They will also provide crucial information on keeping your home safe from redirected prescriptions.
This is an eye-opening and life-saving discussion that no parent or teen should miss. No family or community is immune to these silent epidemics that continue to take the lives of our children.
